Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine Vibrator Review
Lots of insertable length, soft & pliable silicone, and a bright daisy yellow: all things that are hard to find in the current vibrator market, and things that I was happy to see with the Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine Vibrator. Now I’m not saying this vibe is perfect, but for my own uses, it fills an otherwise scarce niche. I own plenty of strong g-spot vibrators with stiff bodies and strong motors placed *right* at the tip to give that strong stimulation. The Sunshine vibrator is different. It’s soft silicone (I’d say about a 12A Shore, so very similar to the Blush Novelties Avant dildos), and the vibrations are concentrated in the base, near a nub that could theoretically stimulate the clitoris. And the color! It’s beautiful and sticks out from the sea of pinks are purples my vibrator drawers are overflowing with, making me instinctively reach for this vibe. But, looks are insignificant if a vibrator doesn’t work so let’s get into the review.

Motor:
The motor on this vibrator is decent, not crazy strong or rumbly but decent, especially given the other features that the Sunshine comes with at a $50 price point. It’s not very loud and has some rumble to it, especially at the lower speeds: you can actually see the toy move back and forth on the lowest speed! The 6 speeds start at a super gentle rumble and go up to a decently strong vibration that isn’t too buzzy.
The motor is placed towards the base of the silicone body, meaning that the vibrations feel more subtle in the tip of the toy and more concentrated towards the clitoral nub of sorts (this nub personally will not stimulate my clitoris while using the toy internally). The gentler vibrations works well for me as I don’t love super concentrated vibrations on my a-spot; this isn’t a weak vibrator by any stretch and it’s about as strong as the Blush Novelties Impressions line.
Sometimes on sensitive days, I use this vibe externally, but I almost always switch it out for a wand or pressure-wave toy part-way into my masturbation time: it just isn’t powerful enough to get me off externally most of the time. If you are on the sensitive side of things and want a vibrator that doesn’t feel overwhelming, this may be a great choice for you.
Shape:
The Yummy Sunshine is marketed as a g-spot vibrator, which it’s fine for if you prefer a gentler curve and pressure–not dissimilar to the fingering adjacent shape or the Uberrime uUno–, but personally, the 6 inches of insertable length and forward curve scream a-spotty goodness to me and hell, they do a good job of it. Thrusting this slimmer toy into my a-spot is glorious and the little loop at the bottom makes it pretty easy to hold without getting my hands all lubey (which happens with suction cup or flat bases).
The little ridges along the silicone shaft! For me, they hit that sweet, middle ground of providing stimulation without being too rough or pokey. It’s just enough, and not too much (perhaps you’re noticing a theme with this vibrator).
The clitoral nub at the bottom of the insertable portion is irrelevant to me. It doesn’t stimulate my clit and it’s small enough to just pop inside my vagina if i need a bit of extra length. The loop at the bottom works well for my thin hands but keep in mind that if you have thicker fingers, it may be challenging to loop more than one finger through the hole.
On Satisfyer as a Company:
A lot of other reviewers have talked about how many Satisfyer products appear to be knock-offs of other brands’ products (such as Womanizer, and in the case of this toy and it’s insertable vibe siblings, Fun Factory). I don’t like this, but I also understand that Fun Factory and Womanizer are expensive brands. I wanted to review this product for folx like myself who may be on a limited budget and unable to afford the previously mentioned premium brands but still want something body-safe and effective. Do a quick Google search on Satisyer copying toy designs and you’ll find more literature on the topic.
Bottom Line:
Overall, the Satisfyer Yummy Sunshine Vibrator is an affordable quality product for gentler stimulation of the a-spot, g-spot, or clitoris that comes in a cute package with a nice set of features. Buy on Amazon
